In my late 30s, I had been working for many years as a hotel front desk clerk. Welcoming international guests and using English daily gave me a strong sense of fulfillment. One day, I came across a news article stating that “Kyoto real estate is becoming increasingly popular among overseas buyers.” I learned that inbound demand was growing rapidly, and more and more international clients were looking to purchase properties in Kyoto. That’s when I thought, “Maybe I can use my English skills and hospitality experience in a new industry.”
